About this site

cskth.kt is an personal blog launched in November 2023. The main purpose of having this site is to share both personal and professional experience so that others may learn from them.

I like to think of it as putting some notes here in a way that I can share them. By sharing, I mean to teach, then I get to more learnings too.

• The name cskth.kt is short for “chardskarth”, It’s an amalgamation of my name and a vocalist of a popular pop-punk band. And .kt is the file extension for kotlin, which I’m a huge fan of 😜.

About me

• I’m Richard, from Quezon City, Philippines 🇵🇭 . Graduated at Polytechnic University of the Philippines, Major in Computer Science.

• I’m a Christian. And like my career, I’m continuously growing my faith.
  I was once an agnostic theist. Not anymore, I have full trust in His plans, and everything feels a lot better now.

• I’m currently employed as Capability Lead for Software Engineers in WhiteCloak Technologies Inc.

• I’m mostly curious and I often geek about interesting things in tech. Especially open-source tools and features that help me in my everyday work.

I feel very fortunate to be able to use open-source written by developers with extraordinary knowledge, skills, and abilities. I plan to write and share about them here. Besides giving them ☕️, I wish to return the favor someday and create tools that others may benefit too 🌟.
